Who we are
EarLink is operated by Earlink OÜ, registered in Estonia (registry code: 17302840). We are building an outdoor communication device and companion app. We are currently in pre-launch stage, collecting waitlist signups and communicating with people interested in our product.

What data we collect and why
We only collect what we need to run the waitlist and communicate with you. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and on what legal basis.
When you join the waitlist

We use Plausible Analytics (plausible.io) for website analytics. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors. All data is aggregated. Plausible is EU-hosted and fully GDPR compliant. We chose Plausible specifically because it requires no cookie consent banner.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking tool that collects personal data through cookies.
UTM parameters
When you click a link to our site (for example, from Instagram or a QR code), the URL may contain tracking parameters (UTM tags) that tell us which channel sent you — for example, “instagram” or “sticker.” These parameters are stored alongside your waitlist signup in our email platform so we can understand which channels are most effective. They do not identify you personally beyond your email address which you provided voluntarily.
Who processes your data
We use the following service providers to operate the waitlist and website:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share your data with advertisers. The only parties who access your data are the service providers listed above, and only for the purposes described.
What emails you will receive
By joining the waitlist, you consent to receive:
- Product development updates from Agnes and Stan
- Beta testing invitations and early-bird pricing announcements
- Occasional community updates related to EarLink
We typically send 2–4 emails per month. We will never send daily emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right to access — You can ask us what data we hold about you. We will respond within 30 days.
- Right to correction — If any data we hold is inaccurate, you can ask us to correct it.
- Right to deletion — You can ask us to delete all your data at any time. We will remove your information from Resend and confirm deletion within 30 days.
- Right to withdraw consent — You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing agnes@earlink.org. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Right to data portability — You can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object — You can object to our processing of your data at any time.
- Right to lodge a complaint — If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics. Plausible Analytics is completely cookieless. Our website may use essential cookies required for basic site functionality (such as form submission), but these do not track you and are not used for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain your waitlist data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove your data from active email lists within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data (from Plausible) is retained indefinitely as it contains no personal information.
If EarLink ceases operations, we will delete all personal data within 90 days and notify all waitlist members by email before deletion.
Children
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at agnes@earlink.org and we will delete the data promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Minor clarifications or formatting changes may be made without notification. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
